Surgical treatment of periodontitis

In order to restore health to the gums, it may be necessary to use surgery if the gum has very deep pockets. After careful professional tooth cleaning, we will then open the gum pockets with a small cut, completely clean the tooth and the root and remove deep deposits and inflamed tissue. If there has already been a loss of bone tissue we can replace it with endogenous bone substances or regenerate it with bone replacement material.
