Extraction of wisdom teeth
It is not unusual for the wisdom teeth, the furthest teeth at the back of the jaw and the last to break through, to cause massive problems. Quite often there is not enough space left in the jaw for the wisdom teeth, so they are displaced, become misaligned, damage neighbouring teeth or prevent the care of another back tooth. The possible complications with wisdom teeth are many and varied and often make an extraction necessary. We are able to perform this low-risk operation safely and reliably for you as an outpatient in our practice. We will discuss in detail at an appointment held in an advance which local or general anaesthetic is the right one for our patients, how the treatment will develop and what must be observed after the operation.
